Michael Lich

Classical guitarist, banjo-player and composer, Michael Lich is an eclectic musician who performs a wide variety of musical styles including classical, jazz and bluegrass. A critic wrote “Lich is a musician’s musician.” Michael's performing career has taken him from Skagway, Alaska to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Busan, South Korea to Frankfurt, Germany and most recently Nogales and Hermosillo, Mexico. He has made several radio and television appearances including KUNM-FM, Albuquerque, NM and "Fala Espiritu Santo"-live television, Vitoria, Brazil.

He has taught master classes and workshops at the Escola de Musica do Espiritu Santo and Faculdade de Musica in Vitoria, Brazil; Universidad de Sonora, Hermosillo, Mexico; New Mexico School for the Arts, Santa Fe, NM; Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, Culver City, CA and Dixie State University, St. George, UT and outreach programs for the Aspen Music Festival and School in Aspen and Basalt, CO. Michael currently is on faculty at Pima Community College and the Academy of Music and Dance (Tucson).
