The Digital Art Awards

Pima Community College’s Digital Arts Department presents its The 2026 Digital Art Awards at the West Campus Center for the Arts.

The department specializes in three key areas: Digital Game and Simulation; Film and Animation; and Graphic and Web Design. In Digital Game and Simulation, students delve into creating immersive video games and virtual simulations by integrating elements such as code, art, sound, animation and music to craft interactive experiences. The Film and Animation program has two distinct tracks: Digital Film Arts and Animation. Students learn essential skills, such as cinematography, lighting, audio production, digital graphics production and both 2-D and 3-D animation techniques. In Graphic and Web Design, students hone their abilities in layout design, typography, interactivity and technical skills.

This year’s highly anticipated event spans two consecutive days and spotlights the talents of our Film and Animation students. While Graphic Design, Web Design and Game Design students won’t be featured in the showcase, their remarkable artwork will be on display in the Louis Carlos Bernal Gallery during the 6 p.m. receptions on both days.
