Calling all high school juniors and seniors! Get a hands-on experience with our incredible arts programs during the PreCollege Arts Workshop Festival at Pima Community College. This exciting one-day event is your chance to explore your creativity, work with our master teaching artists, and get a sneak peek at what college-level art education is like.

This event is exclusively for high school juniors and seniors. Registration is required, and space is limited—so don’t wait to sign up!

What to Expect

  • Sample Two Workshops: Choose from a variety of 45-minute classes taught by our expert faculty.
  • Experience Real Facilities: Work in the same classrooms and studios used by our college students.
  • Free Materials: All workshop materials are provided—just bring your curiosity!
  • Q&A and Pizza Lunch: Enjoy free pizza and refreshments while learning about Pima’s programs and facilities.

Animation Workshops

  • Making a Flip Book Animation
    Time: 10:00–10:45 a.m.
    Description: Create your own flip book animation and learn tips for scanning and animating.

  • Ceramic Cup Making - Only 1 spot left!

    Description: Learn the basics of wheel-throwing to create your own clay cup.
