Eduardo Ballesteros

Prior to pursuing a degree in Digital Arts I had a long history of attending Pima for my Associate of Science. I was interested in becoming a mechanical engineer but then decided to pursue my passion for art and design. I had a great experience during my time in the science department and knew that the Digital Arts program would be just as good. Pima's lower tuition cost was also an important reason for my decision to continue my education there.  

One of my teachers reached out and offered me an internship at his company. He was impressed with the work I was producing and recognized how passionate I was about design. This validated my decision to get into design and helped me realize that I was good enough to pursue this career choice.

The teachers at PCC helped shape me into the artist that I am today. I had amazing professors that helped prepare me with the knowledge, skills, and dedication to thrive in this fast paced and competitive field. Patti Gardiner was an incredible instructor when I took the Adobe InDesign course, as well as all of the other professors such as Chris Carroll in Photoshop, David Fischer in Typography, Erik Strommer in Collateral, Ruth Holladay in Color Rendering, and Jeff Lowry in Production Techniques. This program helped me obtain the job that I've always wanted. I am now a graphic designer for Estrada Advertising and I love what I do.
