I was moving to Tucson from Eugene, Oregon when I was looking into going back to school for film after trying to figure out my way through the film industry on my own when I saw the PCC Film Program. The description I saw for the program made me so excited and I had a feeling I was making the right choice joining the program.

I've had a lot of special moments in the film program that have impacted me. Something I will always remember is working closely with my fellow classmates on our capstone projects into the night for weeks and seeing it come together and feeling so proud of all of us for how far we've come since our first year in our program. It was the first time putting together a real film production and celebrating each other's accomplishments with our teachers was very special.

I don't think I would be where I am without the PCC Film Program. It really helped me pave a clear path for my career as an independent filmmaker in ways I don't think I could have done alone. I learned so much about what I need to be prepared for on a set, how to write a great script, how to be a great director and cinematographer, I found I enjoy audio production and the program made it clear for me that this is what I want to do with my life. I learned so much from my fellow talented classmates and built long term working relationships with them as well as fun memories, and I will forever be grateful for Robert Loomis, Will Stewart, Jorgiana and Foster for helping me become a better filmmaker and inspiring all of us to never stop creating. If I could repeat the film program all over again I would!
